P.S.

And in addition, the Rays are putting a hurting on the Big Eunich. Sweet. Hope it the Yanks pitching staff keeps doing a great job (hahahaha). No, seriously.

Mr. Clutch

How does this guy do it? The Sox can't get it done in the 9th with one out and two on. They can't get it done until Mr. Ortiz comes to the plate in the bottom of the 11th with two outs. He never ceases to amaze me. If that's not MVP material, I don't know what is. Long live Big Papi!

I'm a bad person

I haven't updated in a while...life has been busy (as usual). Sox are kinda on a downward spiral right now. Beckett got hit hard last night. Tavarez lost the game for us on Thursday, although my brother argues that Loretta did. Ugh. Very frustrating to watch. But even more frustrating is sitting here without a functioning AC. I'm sweating bullets.

Peace.

Gearing up for the All-Star game

Not that I actually care anything about the All-Star game. Unless the Red Sox make it to the World Series (which they will), and get home-field advantage. Didn't really matter for us in 2004, as we kicked butt in St. Louis just as well as we did in Boston. All in all, just reiterates the point for me that the National League is no match for the American League.

That being said, it's sad that we're not playing the National League anymore. A) We wiped the field with NL teams, and B) we're going back to playing the same teams we play a million times a season. Like the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Ugh.

Does anyone else think that Schilling is totally pissed that he didn't make the All-Star team? Will it affect his pitching in his next start? It remains to be seen...
