The Yankees are trouble

So again, I didn't get to see all of the game (because of work), but I did see the 7th inning. The Sox again proved to me why they are not 5 games ahead of the Yankees at this point...they're not cashing in with runners in scoring position! Every game it seems they leave a million people on base. After Manny actually made a game out of it (the power's back!!), and the Sox had them loaded, I thought for sure they would pummel the Yankees. But Youkilis and Papi both struck out!

All in all, completely frustrating. The Yankees are NOT better than us. Their pitching is crap. Stranding so many baserunners was a gift to the Yankees. There was no way they could have taken 2 out of 3 otherwise.

Playing Tampa tonight...should be interesting after the series we just had. They have a pretty decent team (they're totally in the wrong division though, they're the bottom feeders of the AL East), let's see if Beckett can hold it down tonight.

& they blew it to KC in the 8th, losing 7-6 in a rain-delayed game. The pitching is pourous.

What do you get when you congregate 50,000 tourists in one place?

A yankees crowd!
